These courses offer easy-to-follow training so that as many of us as possible can enjoy the advantages of computers and the internet.
Through technology, we can bridge the gap between generations and combat loneliness.
What if I can't find a computer course?
If there isn't currently a local 91¶ÌÊÓƵapp providing a computer training course in your area, there may be other organisations providing specialised computer courses and taster sessions for older people near you:
- Call 91¶ÌÊÓƵapp's Advice Line on 0800 678 1602 to ask about the opportunities in your nearest 91¶ÌÊÓƵapp and to find out about any other local training opportunities.
- The Online Centres Network have thousands of Digital Inclusion Hubs across the UK. These provide digital skills advice and support, as well as access to public computers and the internet. .
- Ask at your local library about computer training opportunities.
